The journey so far

Stanley Grange Community Association (SGCA) is a charitable organisation, set up by the Friends & Families of the residents of Stanley Grange.  It has campaigned tirelessly for many years to save the site, and has now raised the funds in order to purchase it from its current owners. While SGCA will own the site, the services based on it will be provided by Future Directions CIC.

The services were previously operated by Hft who, after discussions with the people living at Stanley Grange and their families, agreed to sell Stanley Grange to an alternative provider, the SGCA.

In light of the funding which has been raised by SGCA, and to enable individuals to continue to live on the site, Hft has worked closely with both SGCA and Future Directions CIC to make this new partnership possible.

Hft, SGCA and Future Directions all share the same commitment to work together to ensure a new future at Stanley Grange for the people supported there, their families, and the staff team working at the service and all involved are positive about this latest development.

working for us

Had great day doing keynote speech at Acevo conference and sharing our work at Future Directions. Preparing it and delivering it made me reflect on how far we have come and exciting plans for the future. It really brought home the importance of living out our values! Thanks John Exton and Sharon Costello for being there!
