💙 Learning Disability Week 2026 💙 Monday 15th Jun 💙 Learning Disability Week 2026 💙

Monday 15th June until Sunday 21st June.

This year's theme: "Do You See Me?" 👀✨

Throughout next week, we'll be sharing the voices of people we support and colleagues with learning disabilities, highlighting what it means to feel seen, heard and valued. 🗣️

Learning Disability Week is a chance for people with a learning disability to show off what their life is like. Therefore during the week we want to celebrate the things that people with learning disabilities do and challenge barriers that people with a learning disability face.

Keep an eye on our pages as we celebrate the amazing people who help make Future Directions such a special place. 🌟💚

To learn more about Learning Disability Week, visit the Mencap website for lots of helpful information and resources.

🏆⚽ WORLD CUP MADNESS 2026 ⚽🏆 What a fantastic day 🏆⚽ WORLD CUP MADNESS 2026 ⚽🏆

What a fantastic day we had celebrating the start of the 2026 World Cup ! 🎉🥳⚽

Our World Cup Madness party held at River Beal Café and Community Hub was packed with fun from start to finish, including a football quiz 🧠⚽ that got everyone thinking, a spectacular football-themed cake that looked almost too good to eat, and a game of Play Your Cards Right with lots of prizes won! 🙌🏆

The atmosphere was incredible as everyone joined in singing along to classic World Cup songs 🎶🎤🌍

We were also treated to some amazing singing and dancing performances from our wonderful guests, who truly stole the show and had everyone joining in! 👏😁❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the day, The Friends For Life Group and everyone who came along and joined us and made the event so special. ⚽🏆🎉🥳🌟
