Suzanne wins funding for SPICE!

6th August 2015 |

Suzanne Ryan has successfully secured a place on the Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs’ Programme

Suzanne was awarded one of the places after an application process that involved over 200 applicants.  Fifty-six people were then short-listed and underwent group and individual interviews to form a cohort of 10 – 15 people for the programme.

Suzanne’s success means that the SPICE Group have won a £4,000 grant to further develop their work and Suzanne will have a place on a 14 day course that looks to equip the participants with key skills for starting and developing social enterprises.  This will be extremely useful not only for the further development of the SPICE Group, but also for the knowledge and skills it will bring to the rest of Future Directions.

The photo to the right is the poster that Suzanne took with her to the interview. Suzanne left the poster with them to remind them about SPICE. Well done Suzanne!
